The Brown Bear Model PA35 is a compost aerator for tractors with PTO drive. It is the largest capacity compost aerator in its price class. This compost aerator can be mounted on most tractors with Category II or III 3-Pt. hitch and has the option of front or rear mounting. This machine has a PTO with counter rotation and is compatible with 100-160 HP tractors.
One of the major benefits of composting is that it eliminates flies and odors. Composting also reduces volume by 50% and produces a dry granular product. This machine is affordable, easy to operate and maintain, and has a low cost per ton. Additionally, this compost aerator is exempt from manure management regulations and assists in CAFO compliance.
This aerator comes in two models: PA35B-10.5 and PA35C-10.5. It has an effective working width of 35′ or 36′. The Brown Bear Model PA35 & AA35 are the only PTO drive windrow composters capable of building their own windows and combining windows as the volume material shrinks. This allows the operator to maintain the appropriate windrow size for maximum oxygen incorporation and virtually eliminates the chance for anaerobic pockets to lay right on the machine’s line of travel. This method of moving and restabilizing the windrow in one pass guarantees maximum oxygen for two pass machines and machines that recestate in place.
The Brown Bear Model PA35 is ideal for a variety of different composting materials such as: feed lot manure, poultry manure, dairy manure, swine manure, horse manure, sheep/goat manure, municipal yard waste, municipal solid waste, municipal sewage sludge, and food processing waste.
